Job summary

Scotiabank Houston seeks a Director, Commercial Banking, U.S. & Multinational Coverage to lead onboarding and cross-border cash management for Canadian multinational clients. You will coordinate with PAMs, GTB, risk and product partners to deliver integrated solutions across U.S.

subsidiaries and maintain high‑quality client experiences. Responsibilities include developing global account plans, growing deposits and payments, and driving scalable, end‑to‑end onboarding while ensuring risk

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in business or economics or work equivalency.
Strong sales, networking and relationship management skills with client focus.
Knowledge of onboarding, KYC/AML processes and cross-border banking capabilities.

Responsibilities

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Support Commercial Banking PAMs in developing and managing holistic global account plans and executing on local and global multi‑product plans to grow the global relationship of our MNCs.
Promotes growth of Commercial Banking related to Global Transaction Banking products/services and Deposit options in the assigned U.S. market area.
Lead end-to-end onboarding, coordinating internal teams to ensure timely account opening, KYC completion and product implementation.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, U.S. cash management and deposits capabilities as SME for US operations.
