Fidelity's Corporate Services Technology seeks a Director of Engineering in Westlake, TX to lead legal tech platforms across local and international teams. You will shape strategy, own delivery, and raise the bar on engineering discipline and reliability.

You will partner with Legal leadership, architects, and vendors to modernize the technology landscape while balancing security, compliance, and performance in a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering leadership experience.
• Experience with enterprise platforms and modernization efforts.
• Strong understanding of modern architecture, cloud, APIs, integrations and engineering best practices.
• Experience managing engineers responsible for full lifecycle delivery.
• Experience leading distributed teams and enabling strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of local engineers and systems analysts and oversee additional international engineers.
• Deliver reliable, high-quality Legal technology platforms built on modern engineering practices.
• Improve platform stability, scalability, and delivery predictability.
• Reduce operational and regulatory risk by ensuring secure, well-governed systems.
• Mentor and coach engineers to raise capabilities and accountability.
