The Director is a senior engineering and technical leader accountable for the direction, delivery, and operational excellence of legal technology platforms. In this role, you'll directly manage software engineers and partner closely with engineering teams to design, build, integrate, and operate secure, scalable solutions. The role partners with Fidelity's Legal leadership, architects, and vendors, and is grounded in software engineering excellence, modern architecture, and reliable execution supporting discovery, litigation support, legal operations, and shared services.The ideal candidate is not an order taker or project manager. We're looking for an engineering leader who can shape strategy, ask the right questions, influence architects and business partners, challenge the current ecosystem when appropriate, and help our Legal org modernize its technology landscape.
