Job summary

Braven, a national nonprofit, seeks a Director of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and decision-support across the organization. You will translate program and operational strategy into actionable financial plans in a hybrid role spanning multiple hubs.

You will partner with department leaders, oversee KPI dashboards, and work with development on revenue forecasting and grant budgeting. This is a high-impact finance leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A, Accounting, Finance experience.
• 3+ years of nonprofit budgeting, forecasting, and board-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual organization-wide budget process.
• Maintain rolling multi-year forecasts.
• Build scenario models for board and executive decisions.
• Translate strategy into financial models with costs and returns.
• Lead monthly budget-to-actual variance meetings.
• Maintain rolling cash flow forecast and liaise with Development on receipts.
• Own budgeting and planning systems (Workday budgetary controls, Adaptive Planning).
