Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is hiring an Associate Director for Corporate FP&A to drive enterprise-wide planning, executive reporting, and strategic decision support.

This role partners with G&A functions including IS, Finance, Legal, and People Services to deliver budgets, long-range plans, forecasts, and board materials. Based in Pasadena or San Diego, the position offers high visibility and collaboration across Clinical, Commercial, and Partnerships Finance, with a focus on process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years FP&A experience with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills for executive leadership.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and FP&A planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of FP&A to support enterprise-wide financial planning and corporate finance initiatives.
• Prepare and consolidate annual operating and long-range plans, forecasts, and monthly outlooks.
• Develop executive-level presentations and analyses for Leadership Team, Board, and IR activities.
• Consolidate financial information across functions into clear executive reporting.
• Support quarterly close activities with variance analyses and management reporting.
• Lead FP&A process enhancements and system optimizations (e.g., Anaplan).
