Job summary

TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Director of Sales - Flexible Packaging to lead a high-performing sales organization across priority market verticals. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will shape strategy, develop talent, and drive sustainable growth with customers and internal teams.

You will build partnerships with key accounts, steer complex negotiations, and champion innovative packaging solutions while ensuring profitability and alignment with TOPPAN’s values and growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive sales experience including leadership roles.
• Experience in flexible packaging or manufacturing.
• Strong strategic selling, negotiation, and relationship management.
• Knowledge of sustainability-driven packaging initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, build, and develop a results-driven sales organization aligned to priority market verticals.
• Recruit, onboard, coach and mentor sales professionals with a consultative approach.
• Establish clear performance goals and professional development plans.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Business Development, Technology, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain.
• Lead complex negotiations and strategic opportunities while maintaining margin discipline.
