TOPPAN Packaging Americas is seeking a Field Technical Engineer for the Flexibles Division. This role serves as a primary technical contact between customers' production teams and TOPPAN, qualifying and delivering technical service at assigned accounts.

You will work with Commercial and Account Development teams to commercialize flexible packaging opportunities, support trials, translate requirements to engineers, define success criteria, travel domestically and internationally, and become the

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in Flexible Packaging equipment service or technical support.
• Knowledge of numerous varieties of equipment.
• Solid mechanical, hands-on abilities and understanding of equipment component interactions.
• Experience with forming packaging equipment.

Aufgaben

• Identify and commercialize flexible packaging opportunities with the Commercial Team and Account Development Team.
• Support customer trials to qualify new flexible packaging structures, drive cost savings, and improve product performance.
• Translate customer requirements to TOPPAN Technical personnel to build specifications and develop manufacturing instructions for our materials.
• Define project success criteria, draw conclusions from data, make technical recommendations, and manage projects.
• Provide routine technical service activity by visiting key accounts and working on production floors to optimize film use.
• Travel domestically and internationally to plants, suppliers, customers, conferences, and other partners.
• Become the “TOPPAN Expert” for operation and optimization of this packaging equipment.
