Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Director, Finance Transformation to lead enterprise-wide transformation programs across finance. You will partner with executive leadership to set vision, blueprint workstreams, and drive cross-functional initiatives with governance and measurable impact.

You will mentor program managers, manage risks, and deliver dashboards and reporting to the Transformation Steering Committee and executives. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Strong financial acumen with familiarity with financial systems and processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience interacting with senior leadership on strategic and confidential issues.
• Demonstrated project management of multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced analytical and process diagnostic skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable with data, metrics, and dashboards to drive decisions.
• Conflict resolution in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and mentor program managers to create and maintain a transformation roadmap across workstreams.
• Set the vision and strategy for Finance Transformation programs across global organization.
• Identify, evaluate, prioritize, and manage program risks and dependencies.
• Raise risks and establish baseline plans with workstream leads and governance.
• Drive results within a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams.
• Enable and maintain governance for operating model transformation.
• Develop reporting to Transformation Steering Committee and executives.
• Communicate with executive sponsors and delivery teams.
• Assess performance of internal teams and external partners.
• Champion innovation, automation, and visualization tools; mentor talents.
