Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Director of Field Operations for Corporate Clubs to lead a large, geographically dispersed portfolio of franchise and company-owned clubs. You will coach Regional Managers, drive financial performance, and ensure a consistent Judgement Free Zone experience across markets.

Travel up to 100% within the Southern PA, Delaware, New Jersey, and Long Island regions is expected. You will partner with Finance, Marketing, Real Estate, and Operations Support to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Operations, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of progressive multi-unit operations leadership experience within a consumer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading geographically dispersed operations through multiple levels of leadership.
• Proven ability to coach and develop leaders while driving accountability for operational, financial, team member, and member experience results.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including experience managing P&L performance and leveraging data to guide decision-making.
• Experience leading operational improvements, large-scale initiatives, and organizational change across multiple locations, markets, or regions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, reporting tools, dashboards, and business analytics.
• Experience working within a franchised, multi-unit, or geographically dispersed operating environment preferred.
• Extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectives.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead field leadership development for Regional Managers and build leadership capability across markets.
• Partner with People & Culture to support talent development and succession planning.
• Drive operational and financial performance by executing Planet Fitness standards and priorities.
• Own P&L performance, membership trends, and customer experience metrics across markets.
• Balance brand standards with employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable practices and change management.
