Job summary

Stanbridge University invites applications for the Manager of Faculty Development to lead the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL). You will shape faculty onboarding, coaching, and professional development across on-campus, hybrid, online, and clinical settings, emphasizing evidence-based practices and adult learning theory.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred in Education, Higher Education, instructional design, or related field.
• Minimum of five years teaching experience in higher education.
• Experience managing faculty development programs, instructional coaching, or professional development.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based teaching practices and adult learning theory (andragogy).
• Experience with curriculum development, instructional design, assessment strategies, and learning outcomes alignment.
• Experience facilitating workshops and professional learning experiences.
• Excellent organizational, communication, facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty and academic leadership across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual faculty development plans aligned with Academic Affairs priorities and accreditation.
• Manage daily CITL operations and coordinate programs, workshops, and learning communities.
• Collaborate with academic leadership to support instructional excellence.
• Monitor program effectiveness and propose improvements for faculty success.
• Lead onboarding for new faculty across on-campus, hybrid, online, and clinical environments.
• Provide instructional coaching and support for course design and delivery.
• Lead AI and emerging educational technology initiatives in teaching.
