Job summary

Stanbridge University is seeking a Manager of Faculty Development to lead the CITL and advance instructional excellence across all modalities. You will oversee onboarding, coaching, and professional development, champion ethical AI use, and partner with Academic Affairs to meet accreditation standards.

The role requires a Master’s degree with 5+ years in higher education, strong program management skills, and expertise in adult learning theory and evidence-based teaching.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred in Education, Higher Education, Instructional Design, Educational Leadership, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of teaching experience in higher education.
• Experience managing faculty development programs, instructional coaching, or professional development.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based teaching practices and adult learning theory (andragogy).
• Experience with curriculum development, instructional design, assessment strategies, and learning outcomes alignment.
• Experience facilitating workshops, presentations, and professional learning experiences.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL) and lead faculty development programs.
• Plan and implement onboarding for new faculty and provide instructional coaching and support.
• Coordinate faculty development workshops, learning communities, and certificate programs.
• Lead educational technology initiatives, including AI integration and LMS platforms.
• Monitor program effectiveness and prepare reports for Academic Affairs leadership.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs and campus leadership to advance instructional excellence.
• Ensure alignment with accreditation requirements and continuous improvement goals.
