Job summary

Georgetown University’s Law Center seeks a Director of Faculty and Academic Support to lead a 10–12 person team, aligning faculty needs with administrative delivery. You will build policies, ensure compliance, and collaborate across offices to deliver coordinated support during the summer term and through the academic year.

You will manage talent, oversee budgets, and drive service improvements with a focus on equitable workload distribution and high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 10 years of progressive administrative and/or customer service experience.
• Proven management experience with strong team leadership.
• Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills for complex collaboration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, spreadsheets, Canvas, and cloud storage.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operations of 10–12 Faculty and Academic Support personnel, including two Team Leads and an Assistant Director.
• Establishes partnerships across Law Center departments to improve communication and academic operations.
• Leads recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management for the Faculty Support Team.
• Oversees departmental finances, prepares budgets, and monitors expenses for fiscal accountability.
