Job summary

Georgetown University’s Office of Career Strategy seeks an Assistant Director to advise JD students across 1L–3L, develop resources, and run programs that support summer and post-graduate job searches. The role emphasizes equity, inclusion, and collaboration with internal offices and external organizations to guide students through OCI and career planning.

You will design in-person, hybrid, and recorded content, mentor students, and help craft personalized career plans in a flexible, team-driven

Qualifications

• A JD or other advanced degree is required.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and cultural sensitivity.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with and listen to people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Advise students across 1L–3L on job search skills and career planning.
• Create resources and programming for in-person, hybrid, and recorded formats.
• Counsel students, including those from underrepresented groups, on summer and post-graduate opportunities.
• Collaborate with Georgetown offices, state bars, and external partners to support job-search success.
• Support with additional Office of Career Strategy programs for Law Center students.
