Job summary

Natera is seeking a Director to lead the Extended-Hours Support (ExHS) engineering team within the DSPE organization. You will oversee data analytics support for production teams and ensure compliance in a CLIA/FDA regulated environment.

The role requires availability during extended hours for emergencies, guiding a team of engineers and analysts delivering timely insights across AWS/Snowflake-based infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctorate in a quantitative field.
• Minimum 8 years of industry experience with a Master's or 4 years with a Doctorate.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience leading teams in production support or operational roles.
• Experience in regulated environments (CLIA/FDA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor 10+ ExHS data science support engineers and analysts across shifts.
• Lead incident response and emergencies during extended hours.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and analytics tools (AWS QuickSight, Streamlit).
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, FDA and internal quality standards across Snowflake/AWS infrastructure.
