Job summary

Natera, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Science Production Engineering, DevOps to lead the DSPE DevOps team. You will translate business needs into scalable architectures, drive production-grade data platforms on AWS, and optimize performance for ultra-large genomics datasets.

You will partner with engineering and operations to ensure reliability, compliance, and timely delivery of tools and systems across the lab and clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, bioinformatics, or related field.
• 8+ years experience with advanced degrees adjust min years as per degree.
• 3+ years in regulated environments (e.g., CLIA/FDA).
• 3+ years of management leading DevOps/software teams.
• Experience in production software/tools development for high-throughput environments.
• Experience creating design specs, V&V docs, and user manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead a DevOps team to develop, test, deploy, maintain, and update DSPE data platforms and cloud systems.
• Ensure timely delivery of software products with robust functionality.
• Mentor team members on new technologies and best practices.
• Create operational visibility of the DSPE DevOps team.
