Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to lead epidemiology strategies across clinical safety and post-marketing activities. You will oversee study design input, protocol development, and scientific representation for proposals and publications.

You will partner with RWLP leadership, PMs, and business development to advance opportunities, ensure quality, and drive timely delivery in a global context. This role requires strong leadership and epidemiology expertise.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Masters preferred.
• Experience with post-marketing and late-phase study designs is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SAS, R or Python for statistical programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific oversight of selected projects and ensure timelines and budgets meet expectations.
• Coordinate with RWLP management and PMs to oversee study start-up and ongoing management.
• Develop or peer-review protocols, CRFs, SAPs, and interim/final study reports.
• Facilitate scientific advisory boards for safety studies and produce manuscripts/publications.
• Stay updated on guidelines and train RWLP teams on epidemiologic methods.
• Collaborate across functions to develop opportunities in post-marketing safety and risk management.
