Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Applications to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of revenue cycle applications within the EHR framework. You will supervise a team of IT professionals, coordinating with finance, clinical operations, and compliance to align system capabilities with organizational goals.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, project management, and staying current with industry trends and regulatory requirements to drive efficiency and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Six or more years designing, developing and/or supporting Epic applications with 5–7 years of progressive leadership.
• Strong background in revenue cycle management applications within healthcare including EHR systems.
• Epic Certification in Professional Billing/Claims or Hospital Billing/Claims; ITIL/PMP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of revenue cycle applications within the EHR system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (revenue cycle management, finance, clinical operations, compliance) to identify and address business requirements and system enhancements.
• Develop and execute strategies for deployment and ongoing optimization of revenue cycle and access applications, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Oversee selection, integration, and management of third-party software solutions aligned with the technology roadmap.
• Provide leadership in project management, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.
• Monitor and manage performance, security, and scalability of revenue cycle and access applications; address issues promptly.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes related to revenue cycle and access applications; adapt strategies accordingly.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative work environment with knowledge sharing and professional development.
• Prepare and present regular reports on performance, utilization, and impact of revenue cycle and access applications to executive leadership.
