Job summary

ManTech in Herndon, VA seeks an Executive Director, Transformation & Strategic Initiatives to own enterprise-level initiatives and end-to-end P&L realization. You will assemble cross-functional teams, build business cases, navigate stage-gate processes, and drive change across the organization.

You will partner with CAO, CFO, and Steering Committee to secure approvals, manage budgets, timelines, and risks, and travel up to 50% as needed. Must have a track record in strategic execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in management consulting, private equity portfolio ops, or corporate value creation ($100M+ financial impact).
• Proven track record taking complex strategic initiatives from initial concept through full operational execution and P&L realization.
• Experience as Engagement Manager or Project Leader at a management consulting firm (MBB preferred).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence with proven ability to influence senior executives, align cross-functional teams, and lead change in complex matrixed environments.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, valuation, driver-based P&L management, and operational KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise initiatives from concept to plan finalization and P&L realization.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Growth, Operations, Finance, IT, HR, and BUs to drive milestone execution.
• Build financial models, ROI projections, and cost-benefit analyses to justify stage-gate progression and approvals.
• Drive initiative velocity, manage risks, and maintain budgets and timelines to guarantee outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and change champion across all levels while managing friction and stakeholder consensus.
• Partner with AO Lead to embed milestones into Maestro, present progress, and surface risks for CAO escalation.
• Perform domestic travel up to 50% of the time as needed.
