Job summary

MITRE seeks experienced enterprise transformation leaders to advise on complex VA and DHA initiatives, shaping strategy and governance from concept through implementation. You will drive organizational transformation, engage senior sponsors, and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver mission-focused solutions.

This on-site role requires strong stakeholder management, executive communication, and a proven track record in federal programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s; or 3 years with a PhD, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Enterprise Operations, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration, Public Policy, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Management, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting VA, DHA, or other federal civilian organizations on enterprise transformation or strategic initiatives.
• Proven success engaging senior government executives and building trusted relationships.
• Experience translating strategic priorities into actionable implementation plans, governance, and roadmaps.
• Ability to obtain VA/DHA suitability and US citizenship; on-site 4 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor for VA/DHA priorities, helping senior leaders define, prioritize, and execute initiatives.
• Engage with senior government sponsors to understand priorities and translate challenges into actionable recommendations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams in planning and executing complex enterprise initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Build and sustain relationships with senior government stakeholders and identify emerging mission needs.
• Develop and deliver executive briefings, strategic roadmaps, and recommendations to enable informed decision-making.
• Facilitate collaboration across government organizations and stakeholders to deliver practical, executable solutions.
