ManTech seeks an Executive Director to lead the ACHIEVE Office (AO Lead) in Herndon, VA, driving disciplined delivery and enterprise transformation. You will report to the Chief Acceleration Officer and ensure real financial and operational impact is captured and communicated.

You will own the transformation infrastructure, enforce daily compliance, and drive high-urgency cadence across the business, partnering with CAO and enterprise leaders to deliver results.

Qualifications

  • MBA from a top-tier program or equivalent executive leadership experience.
  • 3 to 5+ years of progressive experience in top-tier management consulting, private equity portfolio operations, or leading an enterprise Transformation Office.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly meetings focused on high-priority initiatives and track action items with Sponsors to ensure follow-through.
  • Maintain end-to-end view of all active and prospective initiatives in the pipeline and clear execution hurdles across the network.
  • Drive the weekly operational rhythm and prepare materials for AO meetings, SteerCo reviews, and CAO briefings.
  • Own the Maestro platform end-to-end as the enterprise SME for ACHIEVE tracking and stage-gate progression.
  • Hold ultimate accountability for AO team output while coaching and building capability for high performance.
  • Partner daily with the CAO, Sponsors, Coordinators, AO Finance, and Initiative Owners; liaise with SteerCo and enterprise leadership.

Job description

MANTECH seeks a high-impact Executive Director, ACHIEVE Office (AO Lead) to drive disciplined delivery and manage the enterprise transformation process in Herndon, VA.

Reporting directly to the Chief Acceleration Officer (CAO), the AO Lead represents the CAO at the initiative level to ensure the real financial and operational impact of ACHIEVE is captured, tracked, and communicated. This leader owns the enterprise transformation infrastructure, enforces process compliance daily, and drives high-urgency cadence across the business.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Facilitate weekly meeting discussions focused on high-priority or concerned initiatives while systematically tracking action items and coordinating with Workstream/Sector Sponsors to guarantee follow-through.
  • Maintain a complete, end-to-end view of all active and prospective initiatives in the pipeline, proactively identifying and clearing execution hurdles across the organizational network.
  • Drive the weekly operational rhythm, preparing, coordinating, and disseminating all materials for weekly AO meetings, SteerCo reviews, and CAO briefings.
  • Own the Maestro platform end-to-end, serving as the enterprise subject matter expert for overall ACHIEVE tracking and enforcing stage-gate progression.
  • Hold ultimate accountability for the work output of the AO team while actively coaching, building capability, and fostering a high-performing working experience.
  • Partner side-by-side daily with the CAO, Sponsors, Coordinators, AO Finance, and Initiative Owners while liaising directly with SteerCo members and enterprise leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • MBA from a top-tier program or equivalent executive leadership experience.
  • 3 to 5+ years of progressive experience in top-tier management consulting (MBB preferred), private equity portfolio operations, or leading an enterprise Transformation Office (TMO/PMO).
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise transformation and value-tracking tools, such as Maestro, alongside advanced analytics and LLM platforms.
  • Demonstrated leadership presence with the ability to drive accountability among C-suite executives, Sponsors, and cross-functional business units.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise performance management infrastructure, action tracking, and cross-sector cadence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive background leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced government contracting environment.
  • Expertise in developing tailored executive and internal communications to align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in leveraging AI-driven analytics tools to optimize transformation tracking and reporting.
Clearance Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
