Job summary

Geisinger, based in Danville, PA, seeks an enterprise strategy lead embedded with a designated business unit. The Director shapes strategy, translates enterprise direction into actionable plans, and supports disciplined execution while aligning with enterprise priorities.

The role balances deep BU partnership with an enterprise perspective, ensuring strategies are decision-oriented, integrated across the system, and supported by clear plans, metrics, and execution follow-through.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Minimum of 7 years related work experience (Required).
• Minimum of 5 years managerial/supervisory experience (Required).

Responsibilities

• Partner with BU leaders to frame strategic questions and set direction aligned to enterprise priorities.
• Translate approved strategy into multi-year and annual plans, including priorities and resource needs.
• Surface cross-business dependencies and resolve enterprise-level tradeoffs with ACSO and BU leadership.
• Define analytic questions and translate analysis into decision-ready options and risks.
• Provide hands-on strategic support for enterprise-critical initiatives within the BU.
• Support routine strategic performance reviews and signal when reprioritization is needed.
• Lead executive strategy sessions and produce concise executive narratives and memos.
