Job summary

Geisinger in Danville, PA seeks an IT leader responsible for leadership and/or technical oversight of an assigned Information Technology (IT) segment. You will create and roll out policies and procedures for the IT segment and serve as the primary contact with accountability for ensuring redundancy and reliability.

Responsibilities include vendor management, budget development, and collaboration with IT leadership to implement IT strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant IT experience.
• Minimum 2 years managing people, processes, or projects.
• Epic Bridges Certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identifies best practices for service offerings of IT segment.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of departmental workflows.
• Responsible for vendor management, including contract negotiations, invoice reconciliation, releases, and evaluations.
• Reviews work of lower level personnel to ensure service quality.
• Performs personnel review and salary-related duties.
• Prepares department budgets and adheres to them.
• Monitors compliance with IS procedures and reports findings to IT leadership.
• Presents issues and potential solutions to IT leadership.
• Works with management to develop and implement IT strategies.
• Establishes and monitors operational KPIs and productivity standards.
• Develops and administers IT budgets for the area.
