Job summary

Geisinger Health in Pennsylvania seeks a Pharmacy Director to provide comprehensive and strategic oversight of all pharmacy services across assigned areas. This role leads, mentors, plans, and administers pharmacy practice while coordinating patient care within the health system.

You will guide development of programs, ensure cost containment, manage budgets, and collaborate with physicians and leaders to advance evidence-based care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 7 years related work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years managing people, processes, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy practice, medication-use process, and transitions of care.
• Mentor and lead pharmacy staff and leaders.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop cost-effective, patient-centered programs.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and corporate standards.
• Develop budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Lead performance improvement and quality metrics.
