Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Director of Risk Management to lead the development and execution of the enterprise risk, insurance, claims, and loss prevention programs across our project portfolio. You will partner with executive leadership, operations, finance, legal, safety, and project teams to identify exposures, drive mitigation, and reduce total cost of risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Risk Management, Construction, Engineering, Business, Finance, Insurance).
• Experience leading enterprise risk, insurance, claims, and contractual risk programs.
• Strong understanding of construction operations and project risk transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of risk management programs, policies, and processes.
• Oversee the company’s insurance portfolio, including renewal activities and coverage terms.
• Manage claims process, reserves, and litigation strategy across lines of coverage.
• Evaluate and implement risk financing strategies, including self-insurance and captives.
• Oversee surety bonding program and coordinate with finance and operations.
• Review contractual risk provisions to align with risk transfer policies.
• Collaborate with safety, fleet, and operations to reduce loss and total cost of risk.
