Job summary

Schwab is seeking a Director to lead the enterprise-wide product governance and intake processes within the SIPSS portfolio. You will drive the front-door governance, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, and push continuous improvement across design, risk, and regulatory review to ensure timely market introductions.

You will lead a team responsible for governance playbooks, reporting, and adoption of new capabilities, partnering with senior leaders to balance growth with regulatory rigor.

Qualifications

• Over 8+ years of leadership experience redesigning or scaling enterprise processes.
• Experience in a highly regulated enterprise environment with governance demands.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and coordinate across large matrixed teams.
• Proven track record delivering process improvements and governance excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of the enterprise product governance process and manage the review pipeline.
• Develop a high-performing team and drive scalable governance models for growth and acquisitions.
• Improve speed to market while maintaining strong risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Own governance resources, playbooks, and training materials to increase self-sufficiency.
• Evolve governance reporting, metrics, and management information for leadership visibility.
• Support regulatory examinations and audits with thorough documentation and evidence.
