Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks a Director to lead and evolve the enterprise-wide product governance review and approval process. You will guide intake, governance, and risk assessment across lifecycles in a highly regulated environment.

You will build a high-performing team, establish scalable governance models, and partner with senior leadership to accelerate time-to-market while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Over 8+ years of leadership experience in enterprise governance or similar.
• Experience redesigning, scaling, or optimizing complex enterprise processes.
• Experience in large regulated environments with regulatory considerations.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and navigate competing priorities without direct authority.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across risk, legal, compliance, and business units.
• Experience implementing governance, intake, and approval processes across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution of the enterprise product governance process and manage the review pipeline.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing team capable of facilitating complex enterprise decisions.
• Own strategic execution of continuous improvement for enterprise governance, including scalable models for growth and acquisitions.
• Improve speed-to-market while maintaining rigorous risk management and clear readiness standards.
• Manage governance resources, playbooks, and training materials to increase consistency and self-sufficiency.
• Lead governance reporting and metrics to provide leadership visibility on pipeline, decisions, and speed-to-market.
