Job summary

ServiceNow’s Veza division seeks a Senior Architect to own the end-to-end architecture of the Veza platform, spanning the access graph, ingestion, and policy engine. You will steer the move to a graph-native data model and design for billions of relationships while ensuring scalable, multi-region deployment.

You will define the architecture for non-human identity and AI agent security, govern integrations, and mentor senior engineers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering and 5+ years as a staff/principal/chief architect
• Deep experience designing multi-tenant, cloud-native SaaS at enterprise scale
• Hands-on Kubernetes and cloud experience (AWS required) and modern DevOps, IaC, and SRE practices
• Strong background in graph databases and data structures with Neo4j or similar
• Track record leading large architectural migrations in live production systems
• Executive-level communication and cross-geography influence across US/EU/India
• Proficiency in Python and Go or Java for deep code and design reviews
• Experience delivering security products with SOC 2, FedRAMP or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture of the Veza platform, including the access graph, ingestion pipeline, authorization and policy engine
• Lead the next-generation data architecture for growth with a migration path and zero customer disruption
• Define architecture for non-human identity and AI agent security and governance
• Set AI architecture for Veza's agents, including cost and capacity planning and multi-vendor LLM strategy
• Modernize the integrations framework across 300+ connectors with scalable, self-service patterns
• Architect Veza's fit into ServiceNow with unified integration and UI surfacing
• Drive deployment flexibility: multi-region SaaS, data residency, regulated industries
• Govern architecture via reviews, debt management, and sequencing decisions
• Mentor architects and senior engineers to build technical leadership
• Represent Veza's architecture to executives, customers, and leadership
