Job summary

WeaveGrid, Inc. seeks an Associate Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships to grow new business with electric utilities and to build partnerships with automakers, EV charging firms, battery providers, and other energy players.

The role reports to the VP of Market Development & Partnerships and will own a portfolio of priority opportunities, negotiate agreements, and translate deals into launches and revenue with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in enterprise business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development, consultative sales, or related field.
• Proven track record of originated, structured, negotiated, and closed complex B2B opportunities.
• Ability to translate market dynamics and financial analyses into a credible business case.

Responsibilities

• Own a prioritized portfolio of utility accounts and opportunities from engagement to contract signature.
• Develop relationships with utility executives and leaders across transportation electrification and grid services.
• Lead discovery to understand priorities, regulatory context, budgets, and decision processes.
• Develop proposals, pricing strategies, and materials to win complex enterprise opportunities.
• Maintain ongoing ownership of partnerships and support successful launches and expansion.
