Zusammenfassung

WeaveGrid is seeking a policy and regulatory strategy lead in the United States to shape and execute our approach for EV adoption and flexible loads. You will work with leaders across the business to inform strategy, influence policy, and support regulatory approvals.

You’ll develop state and regional strategies, build alliances, and contribute to high-quality filings and engagements with regulators. This role reports to the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Market Development.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in law, social sciences, or engineering required or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree preferred (MPA/Masters or JD).
• 5+ years of policy and regulatory affairs experience for electric utilities or grid operations.
• Strong regulatory writing and state legislative lobbying skills.
• Existing network in electric transportation and grid modernization is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute WeaveGrid’s policy and regulatory strategy for the assigned U.S. region(s).
• Build external alliances and identify opportunities to build key relationships across stakeholders.
• Write and submit comments for utility regulatory proceedings.
• Attend conferences, workshops, and other convenings as a representative of WeaveGrid.
• Research regulatory developments to inform business strategy with a 2–3 year outlook and influence policy and rate making.
• Track regulatory filings, state policies, and market dynamics to support business development.
• Collaborate with other business units on benefit-cost analyses and program evaluations.
• Assist business development with policy materials for client meetings.
• Pursue opportunities for influence in the industry and regulatory realm.
