International Mission Board in Richmond, VA seeks a Director of Training to lead enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives that empower employees and strengthen leadership. You will oversee LMS administration, content creation, and cross-functional collaboration to advance organizational success.

The role requires at least 5 years in training/OD, plus strong strategic thinking, facilitation, and program design skills. Comprehensive benefits are included with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Adult Education, Organizational Development, HR, psychology, leadership or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in training, learning and development or HR.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide training programs.
• Advanced expertise in learning and development principles and adult learning.
• Experience administering learning systems and reporting with LW platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute organization-wide training and development strategy.
• Assess learning needs and create training solutions aligned with goals.
• Design and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, blended, and e-learning programs.
• Research trends in L&D and apply best practices.
• Create engaging content for leadership and staff across levels.
• Establish annual training priorities with leadership.
• Coordinate internal and external training with standards and processes.
• Oversee LMS administration including Workday Learning and Pathwright.
• Manage training assignments, tracking, reporting and records.
