This executive role guides enterprise strategy for employee relations, labor relations, and leaves, partnering with HR, Legal, Operations, and executives to ensure compliant, equitable practices across a 24/7 environment.

The role translates priorities into scalable policies, governance, and operating models, balancing enterprise-wide consistency with regional flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading labor and employee relations strategy in large organizations.
• Strong knowledge of ADA, FEHA, FMLA, CFRA, and related leave frameworks.
• Ability to advise executives on complex employment and labor law matters.
• Proven track record in investigations, due process, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Design and scale enterprise employee and labor relations and leave programs.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps with governance and metrics; translate strategy to frameworks.
• Oversee investigations, disciplinary actions, and fair due process across the enterprise.
• Lead labor relations including union engagement, bargaining, and contract interpretation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, tribal, and local laws; minimize risk.
• Manage leave and accommodation programs and return-to-work processes.
• Advise senior leaders with decisive, legally sound counsel on workforce trends.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven improvements; manage vendors.
• Perform other duties to support department operations.
