Job summary
Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation is seeking a Sr Leave & Accommodation Specialist to lead end-to-end complex leave and accommodation cases. You will manage intake, determinations, and implementation, coordinating with leaders, HR, Legal, and healthcare providers to ensure compliant, timely outcomes.
The role requires deep ADA/ADAAA, FMLA, CFRA, FEHA knowledge, and hands-on case management. You will mentor teammates, drive process improvements, and maintain meticulous documentation in Workday
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field required.
- Seven years of direct experience in complex leave and accommodation cases.
- Hands-on knowledge of the interactive process and applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manages a full caseload of complex leave and accommodation cases from intake through resolution.
- Interprets and applies evolving legal requirements in real time to active cases.
- Ensures accurate, real‑time case documentation and tracking in Workday and related systems.
- Provides hands‑on coaching and case consultation to junior team members and managers.
- Delivers data‑driven insights and recommendations to strengthen programs and audits.
