Valley Bank, headquartered in Morristown, NJ, seeks a Director of Enterprise Crisis Management to lead and govern crisis response across the bank's operations. You will establish activation criteria, command centers, and executive briefings while ensuring function ownership of recovery work.

You will build a comprehensive enterprise framework, coordinate with Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and third parties, and design realistic exercises to drive measurable improvements in preparedness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 10+ years in incident and crisis management in financial/regulatory settings.
• Experience leading cross-functional real-world incidents in a financial institution.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; design and briefing of enterprise crisis-management programs.

Responsabilités

• Lead the enterprise crisis-management process during significant events; assess severity, activation, and response structure.
• Develop and maintain the crisis-management framework: activation criteria, escalation, decision rights, and playbooks.
• Build a decision-ready operating picture for executive management with clear risk and impact analysis.
• Design and facilitate realistic exercises; conduct after-action reviews and implement improvements.
• Partner across lines (Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Communications) to align crisis with continuity plans.
