Barclays in Whippany, NJ is seeking a resilient Ops Recovery Lead - VP to strengthen enterprise recovery readiness and safeguard critical services across the bank. You will influence governance, coordinate incident management, and drive strategic resilience initiatives with senior technology and business leaders.

This role offers exposure to cross-functional teams in Engineering, Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Business Resilience, plus an incentive-eligible, competitive compensation package.

Formación

• Extensive experience driving technology recovery, cyber recovery, crisis response, or operational resilience activities across large-scale enterprise environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of cyber recovery, operational resilience, disaster recovery, technology recovery, and crisis response frameworks, with experience driving recovery readiness through planning, dependency coordination, testing, validation, and operational assurance.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate recovery activities across technology, infrastructure, and business teams during high-pressure incidents and recovery events.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to support recovery efforts, navigate competing priorities, and drive outcomes across senior technology, business, and resilience teams.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, escalation coordination, and executive reporting skills, with the ability to assess recovery risks, identify critical dependencies, support governance forums, and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders

Responsabilidades

• Socialisation and implementation of the resilience strategy and underpinning framework across the firm, ensuring compliance to the standard and controls.
• Development and enhancement of the resilience, crisis and incident management framework to uplift recovery and response capabilities.
• Operational Recovery Planning and Security Incident Management planning standards and controls.
• Oversight to the business and technology recovery capability improvements, and uplifts to third-party recovery capabilities.
• Communication of the firm’s resilience position through scorecards and dashboards for Board and Executives.
• Enhancement of resilience testing coverage to demonstrate recovery ability within impact tolerance.
• Assurance that services and products are built resiliently through change management processes.
• Keep abreast of resilience developments, regulatory policy, and emerging threats.
• Mitigation of impact by identifying, responding to, and enabling resolution of incidents.
• Execution of incident responses from multiple channels prioritised by impact.
• Documentation and analysis of past incidents to drive preventative measures and improvements.
