Job summary

Oregon State University’s Digital Engagement, Marketing, and Information Technology team seeks an Associate Director to lead enrollment systems and delivery. You will manage a visible portfolio, translate business needs into work, and coordinate testing, releases, and stakeholder updates.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will supervise staff and collaborate with admissions, registrar, financial aid, and other units to deliver reliable, well-documented systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Three years progressively responsible experience managing delivery of information systems or application development work.
• Experience supervising employees or leading staff work.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical work and coordinate with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the enrollment systems portfolio, intake, priorities, schedules, dependencies, and stakeholder updates.
• Supervise application development staff, coach performance, and plan workload and coverage.
• Lead requirements discovery, business analysis, acceptance criteria, and cross-unit coordination.
• Coordinate testing, stakeholder sign-off, releases, production validation, and incident follow-up.
• Maintain documentation, access, backup coverage, and continuity practices.
• Advise the Executive Director on portfolio progress, staffing, risks, and service improvements.
