Job summary

Oregon State University’s Office of Digital Engagement, Marketing, and Information Technology seeks an Associate Director, Enrollment Systems and Application Delivery. This full-time, professional faculty role leads the delivery of undergraduate and graduate enrollment systems, guiding a visible portfolio and coordinating with Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, and other units.

The position may be performed remotely or on campus in Corvallis, with salary commensurate to skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Three years progressively responsible experience managing delivery of information systems or application development work.
• Experience supervising employees or leading staff work, including setting expectations and performance feedback.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical work and coordinate with engineers and partners.
• Strong written and oral communication, judgment, organization, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the enrollment systems portfolio, intake, priorities, schedules, dependencies, and stakeholder updates.
• Supervise application development staff, coach performance, and plan workload and coverage.
• Lead requirements discovery, business analysis, acceptance criteria, and cross-unit coordination.
• Coordinate testing, stakeholder sign-off, releases, production validation, and incident follow-up.
• Maintain documentation, access controls, backup coverage, and continuity practices.
• Advise the Executive Director on portfolio progress, staffing, risks, and service improvements.
