Zusammenfassung

Prologis seeks a Director of Energy Markets to steer market strategy, forecasting, and commercial optimization for its energy platform. You will evaluate wholesale power markets, guide underwriting of energy solutions for the real estate portfolio, and manage environmental commodity positions.

You will partner with origination, development, finance, legal, policy, execution, and asset management teams to advance clean energy growth objectives. Reports to VP, Energy Solutions – Americas.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, engineering, energy or environmental science, or equivalent
• 10+ years of wholesale electricity markets experience
• Deep familiarity with power pools, RTO/ISO structures, risk allocation, and modeling
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with multiple priorities
• Advanced financial and market modeling skills, including Excel
• Strong leadership, executive communication, and consensus-building
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and integrity

Aufgaben

• Lead regional and national power market analysis including load, prices, constraints, and regulatory changes
• Develop market forecasts for solar, energy storage, mobility, and power opportunities
• Monitor trends for large-load customers and support strategic planning
• Establish valuation methods and scenario analyses
• Provide market assumptions for underwriting energy projects
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to translate insights into strategy
• Lead hedging, trading, and optimization for energy assets in wholesale markets
• Develop strategies to manage energy, shape, and ancillary service positions
• Structure commercial products and manage risk to improve portfolio value
• Oversee market registration, qualification, and onboarding activities
