Job summary
L’Oréal is seeking a Director – Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) for the Franklin manufacturing plant, reporting to the Plant Manager. You will lead site EHS&S strategy, risk management and governance for a 580-person operation including contractors and multiple shifts.
The role unites health, safety, environment, security and emergency preparedness, driving Water Neutrality initiatives and close collaboration with Engineering and Operations on risks, performance and project
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field preferred.
- Substantial progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing.
- CSP or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Experience with flammable products and emergency preparedness.
Responsibilities
- Establish site EHS&S strategy, priorities and improvement roadmap in alignment with L’Oréal requirements and Franklin operations.
- Lead safety culture across shifts, including 3rd shift and weekend teams.
- Advise Plant Manager on risk exposure, compliance priorities, environmental performance and security resources.
- Oversee contractor and temporary workforce governance and performance.
