Job summary
L’Oréal USA, Inc. is seeking a Director of Environmental, Health, Safety & Security at the Franklin Manufacturing Plant. This role leads EHS&S strategy, drives safety culture, and partners with Operations to mitigate risks across a 24/7 facility with 580 staff and 160 flammable SKUs.
It includes Water Neutrality projects and strong governance across contractors and security. The Director reports to the Plant Manager, translates corporate expectations into site priorities, and builds capability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Substantial progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing.
- CSP or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Experience with flammable products or similar industrial hazards.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental requirements.
Responsibilities
- Establish site EHS&S strategy and improvement roadmap.
- Drive safety culture across shifts including third shift and weekends.
- Advise Plant Manager on risk exposure and compliance priorities.
- Lead management reviews and escalate significant risks and actions.
- Oversee contractor and temporary workforce governance.
- Lead environmental performance and Water Loop transformation.
- Manage emergency preparedness for 24/7 operation.
