Job summary

Happen Bank’s BSA Team seeks a Director, ECO Technology & Data to lead data, technology, and monitoring strategy for the BSA/AML program, including KYC, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening.

You will drive modern tech adoption, analytics, and automation while maintaining rigorous governance in a regulated environment and build a high-performing team across multiple lines of business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in banking or financial services with BSA/AML data, tech, analytics, or monitoring
• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of KYC, sanctions, watchlist screening, and related data/tech

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy for BSA/AML data, technology, analytics, and monitoring
• Lead data/tech needs across compliance, tech, risk, and business lines
• Own performance and evolution of BSA/AML tech, coordinate issues and enhancements
• Lead tech implementations for case investigations, monitoring, KYC, sanctions, watchlist
• Build and manage the transaction monitoring rule development program
• Partner with Model Risk Management on governance and validation
• Own data requirements across risk assessments, reporting, QA and controls
• Leverage AI and automation to improve workflows with governance and oversight
• Build and develop a high-performing team with clear priorities
