Job summary

Happen Bank is seeking a Director, ECO Technology & Data for its BSA/AML program. You will define data, analytics, and monitoring strategies, lead cross‑functional teams, and drive scalable tech solutions across KYC, sanctions and watchlist screening.

You will advance regulatory data capabilities using AI and automation while ensuring governance and rigorous risk decisions in a fast‑paced financial setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in banking or financial services with BSA/AML data/tech
• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of KYC, sanctions, watchlist screening, and related data tech

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy for BSA/AML data, tech, analytics and transaction monitoring
• Lead data/tech needs across Compliance, Tech, Risk and other teams
• Own performance and evolution of BSA/AML tech, coordinating enhancements
• Lead tech implementations supporting case investigations, monitoring, KYC, sanctions and watchlists
• Build and manage transaction monitoring rule development and analytics
• Partner with Model Risk Management on governance, validation and remediation
• Oversee data requirements across risk assessments, reporting, QA and controls
• Apply AI and automation to improve monitoring and workflows with governance
