Job summary

Happen Bank’s BSA Team leads the data, technology, and transaction monitoring strategy across the BSA/AML program, including KYC and sanctions screening. The Director will drive AI-enabled analytics, partner across Compliance, Technology, and Risk, and own the end-to-end transformation of BSA/AML data capabilities.

You’ll build a high-performing team, establish governance, and oversee model risk management while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong partnerships with business lines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in banking or financial services with deep expertise in BSA/AML data, technology, analytics, or transaction monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong command of KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions and watchlist screening, and the data/tech capabilities that support them.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for BSA/AML data, technology, analytics, and transaction monitoring capabilities.
• Serve as the primary leader for BSA/AML data and technology needs across business lines.
• Own the performance and evolution of BSA/AML technology and oversee issue resolution and enhancements.
• Lead technology implementations for case investigations, monitoring, KYC, sanctions, and watchlist screening.
• Build and manage the transaction monitoring rule development program and analytics.
