Job summary

CenterPoint Energy, Inc. is seeking a Director of IT, Digital Workplace to lead a transformative, secure, cloud-managed end-user environment for office and field staff. You will own strategy, architecture, and execution across endpoint management, collaboration, and AI-enabled workplace operations.

You will establish a unified control plane, oversee rollout, and partner with IT, security, and business units to improve reliability, mobility, and user experience at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years IT leadership with large enterprise digital workplace transformation.
• Proven ability to create multi-year roadmaps and measurable business outcomes.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, SCCM, and modern delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead Digital Workplace strategy and end-user computing roadmap from design to retirement of legacy systems.
• Transition to an Intune-led cloud control plane with co-management and policy baselines.
• Modernize device lifecycle across laptops, tablets, and field devices including BYOD.
• Establish integrated endpoint security and compliance models with proactive remediation.
• Advance digital employee experience with analytics, self-service, and onboarding improvements.
• Drive AI-enabled workplace initiatives with Copilot and governance around automation.
