Job summary

BNY seeks a Product Development Manager for its Digital Assets team in New York, NY. You will own end-to-end custody feature delivery, translate requirements into clear roadmaps, and partner with engineering to deliver deposits/withdrawals, transfers, and reporting within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Compliance, Technology, Operations and Risk, refining control needs, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of product management or technical product management.
• 4+ years in digital asset custody, wallet infrastructure or related market infra.
• Hands-on fluency with APIs, integrations, logs and metrics.
• Strong knowledge of custody operating models, KMS, MPC/HSM concepts and auditability.
• Experience delivering platform products end-to-end with SDLC discipline.
• Proven ability to translate complex concepts into roadmaps and backlogs.
• Comfort working with Compliance, Technology, Operations and Risk.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery for Digital Asset Custody capabilities by translating outcomes into requirements and backlog.
• Write detailed PRDs, define acceptance criteria, and partner with engineering to estimate and sequence work.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Risk to meet regulatory expectations.
• Evolve custody services and APIs to trading, settlement and accounting platforms.
• Contribute to security and control design with MPC/HSM usage and audit readiness.
• Own end-to-end feature delivery across custody workflows including UAT and go-live readiness.
• Support build-vs-buy evaluations by documenting tradeoffs and vendor capabilities.
