Job summary

GE Aerospace’s Digital Technology organization seeks a Director of DevOps, Support, and Operations to lead the DSCX portfolio. You will own vulnerability remediation, reliability, automation, and incident response for 30+ digital products, with on-call and disaster recovery responsibilities.

You will manage a team of 6–8 engineers, partner with security, TPMs, and vendors, and pursue continuous improvement through AI-enabled tooling and standardized processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience OR Associates degree with 11+ years OR High School Diploma with 13+ years of professional experience
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Application Operations and IT
• Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability remediation and high-priority defects across the DSCX portfolio with SLA-driven priorities
• Own remediation backlog with named owners and target dates
• Own the automation backlog and reduce manual operational work
• Set the infrastructure-as-code standard for the portfolio
• Lead blameless post-mortems and track actions to closure
• On-call rotations and disaster recovery planning
• Vendor management for third-party software and renewals
• Lead, coach, and develop the operations team
