Job summary

Greystar seeks a Director of Development to lead cradle-to-grave development pursuits in the Sacramento region. You will manage due diligence, underwriting, and negotiations to advance high-impact projects, coordinating with equity partners and internal teams to meet budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in real estate development.
• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Business, Real Estate, Economics, Construction, Architecture or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage due diligence for land opportunities and develop recommendations.
• Prepare investment memorandums and financial models for review.
• Coordinate with equity partners and stakeholders on project budgets and timelines.
• Oversee preconstruction schedules and liaison with consultants and teams.
