Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks a Director of Real Estate Development to lead affordable housing initiatives in Southern California. The role oversees complex, multimillion-dollar developments from feasibility and financing through construction and closing, shaping regional strategies and funding approaches while mentoring the development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate or related field.
• Minimum five years of real estate development experience.
• Experience in residential multifamily development and LIHTC financing.
• Ability to secure public and private financing for predevelopment through permanent funding.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management.
• Hybrid work arrangement based in Southern California (Burbank area).

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional development activities across Southern California.
• Develop regional business plans and identify investment opportunities.
• Structure projects and underwriting assumptions.
• Manage development lifecycle from predevelopment to final closing.
• Build partnerships with government agencies and housing authorities.
• Lead and mentor development professionals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and financial objectives.
