Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Senior Director, Construction to lead a regional team responsible for renovating multifamily properties acquired by Greystar. This role oversees the construction, financial, and reporting dimensions of all assigned projects—from developing detailed plans, hard cost estimates, and budgets, to staffing, bidding, and coordinating with equity partners.

The position is remote and travel is required, with possible seating in Northern California or Washington State.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction of multifamily projects.
• Strong budgeting and cost-estimation abilities.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee execution of new construction projects from plans to delivery.
• Lead planning meetings, define scope, budgets and schedules.
• Review bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain updates with executives, owners, equity partners and key leaders.
• Develop and supervise project teams, hire and train staff.
• Inspect sites and implement modifications to plans, schedule, or budget.
