Job summary

The Alzheimer's Association is seeking a Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Los Angeles, CA, to advance the organization’s DEI priorities across all pillars and build strategic partnerships with underserved communities. This senior role oversees KPI-driven initiatives, volunteer recruitment, and long-term systemic change work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Seven years of program/team management experience.
• Experience in community health and mobilization is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow mission-driven partnerships with underserved and underrepresented communities.
• Align and mobilize staff, Board, volunteers, and DEI Committees around the National DEI strategic framework.
• Implement and evaluate the Chapter-level DEI SAP across four areas: Internal Diversity, Internal Inclusion, Volunteer Recruitment/Mobilization and Partnerships.
• Convene a DEI volunteer council to advance DEI work in the community.
• Collaborate with Care & Support to develop community forums for underserved audiences.
• Analyze service data to identify gaps in mission delivery in underserved communities.
