Job summary

The Alzheimer's Association is seeking a Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion to advance DEI priorities across all pillars in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time role advises governance, mobilizes volunteers, and drives strategic action to improve equity and inclusion in programs and services.

You will build partnerships, lead cross-functional teams, and oversee community outreach, ensuring documentation in required databases and meeting KPI goals while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Seven years of experience in program and/or team management.
• Experience in community health or mobilization is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow mission-driven partnerships with organizations serving underserved communities.
• Align staff, Board, volunteers and DEI Committees around the strategic framework.
• Implement and evaluate the Chapter-level DEI Strategic Action Plan (SAP).
• Convene a DEI volunteer council to advance DEI work in the community.
• Develop and execute community forums with underserved audiences.
